After uncovering a hidden tomb beneath the desert, U.S. Army Sergeant Nick Morton (Tom Cruise) helps unleash Ahmanet, an Egyptian princess buried alive after her future was taken from her. In the present day, Sofia Boutella’s resurrected ruler carries a centuries-old curse from the sands of the Middle East into London, bringing plagues, destruction, and a supernatural threat tied to ancient mythology. As Nick finds himself at the center of her return, the film follows the fallout of waking something that was meant to stay entombed.
