Michael
ComedyDramaFantasy105 min
A tabloid’s oddest lead sends a team of reporters to investigate a woman’s claim that an angel is living under her roof. John Travolta is Michael, an earthbound archangel whose arrival turns a routine assignment into a road trip, while William Hurt and Andie MacDowell are among the skeptics pulled into his orbit. As the group follows Michael from one stop to the next, the film folds newsroom cynicism into offbeat fantasy, romance, and a version of the divine that feels less polished than human. Directed by Nora Ephron.
