New arrival Sam Cooper discovers that life inside a seemingly perfect retirement community in the New Mexico desert comes with a darker clock ticking underneath it. After a terrifying nighttime encounter, his warnings are dismissed as confusion, pushing him toward a small group of fellow residents and outsiders who start piecing together an otherworldly threat stalking the neighborhood. Bill Pullman leads the ensemble as the mystery closes in on the community’s manicured streets, with Geena Davis and Alfred Molina among the faces caught up in a place where time itself feels under siege.
