Charlie Sheen is Charlie, a former major league ballplayer whose anger issues ended his career and sent him into a new line of work as an anger-management therapist. He runs a private practice, leads sessions for a regular therapy group, and volunteers at a state prison, helping other people manage the same impulses that once derailed him. The comedy follows Charlie through counseling sessions, inmate meetings, and the complications that keep spilling in from his own life. Shawnee Smith and Selma Blair are part of the ensemble in Charlie’s daily orbit.
