Drama123 min

During the Great Depression, the University of Washington men’s rowing team goes from campus long shot to the world stage, chasing a place at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Callum Turner’s Joe Rantz joins a crew of young oarsmen whose speed on the water begins to shake up the sport’s established order, while Joel Edgerton is coach Al Ulbrickson, driving them through a punishing season. George Clooney directs the story as a period sports drama focused on training, team chemistry, and the pressure facing a college crew suddenly lined up against elite international rivals.
