Overcompensating
Comedy37 min per episode
Benny arrives at college with the identity that worked in high school still half-intact: former jock, practiced confidence, and a secret he is trying hard to outrun. Freshman year quickly strips that act down. As he fumbles through dorm life, new friendships, and the pressure to fit in, he forms a close bond with a woman who becomes the person he can least fake things around. What starts as another attempt to manage appearances turns into a messier process of figuring out who he is and what it would mean to stop hiding. Benito Skinner’s series keeps the focus on awkward reinvention, false starts, and the social chaos of the first year away from home.
