Three Monkeys

DramaThriller109 min

When a politician covers up a hit-and-run by asking his driver to take the blame, one lie becomes the basis of a family’s daily life. Yavuz Bingöl is the driver who agrees to the deal, leaving his wife and son to manage the money, the absence, and the man who caused the crash. Ercan Kesal’s politician keeps close to the household as small compromises harden into a wider cover-up. In contemporary Turkey, the story follows a family trying to hold itself together by refusing to say aloud what each person can already see.
