In Regency England, Mr. E. Blackadder serves as butler to Prince George, using wit, flattery, and the latest social crazes to survive life at court. Rowan Atkinson is Blackadder, now less nobleman than sharp-tongued fixer, forever cleaning up the damage caused by Hugh Laurie's Prince Regent, a preening aristocrat with money, status, and very little sense. Tony Robinson’s Baldrick remains loyally useless at Blackadder’s side as fashions, scandals, and political absurdities sweep through the era. The series turns Georgian high society into a parade of schemes, class games, and verbal put-downs.
