Law & Order: Criminal Intent

CrimeDocumentaryDramaMysteryThriller60 min per episode

New York’s Major Case Squad investigates murders and other high-profile crimes by studying the people behind them as closely as the evidence. Vincent D’Onofrio is Robert Goren, a detective with an uncanny feel for motive and behavior, working opposite Kathryn Erbe’s steady, sharp Alexandra Eames. As the series expands, Mike Logan (Chris Noth) and Detective Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) take parallel cases of their own. Rather than treating each episode as a straight whodunit, the show often lets viewers see the offender early and follows the squad’s psychological cat-and-mouse through interrogation rooms, penthouses, offices, and tabloid-ready New York scandals.
