Kidnapping Mr. Heineken

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThriller95 min

A group of longtime friends in the Netherlands decides to kidnap Freddy Heineken and his driver, turning a bold money grab into one of the country’s most notorious criminal cases. Anthony Hopkins is Heineken, the forceful heir behind the brewery empire, while Jim Sturgess's Cor van Hout leads the operation with Sam Worthington's Willem Holleeder at his side. Drawn from the true story, the film follows the planning, the abduction, and the strain that sets in once the ransom demand is made, as the gang tries to stay ahead of mounting pressure and fractures within its own ranks.
