Deliver Us from Evil

CrimeDramaFantasyHorrorMysteryThriller118 min

As a wave of brutal, inexplicable crimes hits New York City, NYPD officer Ralph Sarchie can’t make the evidence fit any rational case. Eric Bana is Sarchie, chasing leads through late-night crime scenes and disturbing security footage, until renegade Jesuit priest Mendoza (Édgar Ramírez) pushes him toward a darker explanation: demonic possession. What starts as a police investigation begins to overlap with exorcism, confessions, and violence tied to a former soldier whose past won’t stay buried. Inspired by accounts associated with the real Sarchie, the story keeps one foot in street-level cop drama and the other in supernatural horror.
