All Creatures Great & Small

ComedyDrama45 min per episode

In the Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s, a newly trained veterinarian arrives at a rural practice and learns that tending animals also means navigating farmers, families, and village life. Nicholas Ralph is the young country vet at the center of the story, while Samuel West’s unpredictable senior partner keeps the surgery in constant motion. Cases range from farm calls in muddy fields to anxious visits inside cramped kitchens, with the work of the practice tied closely to the rhythms of the community around it. Humor and everyday setbacks sit alongside the demands of caring for animals whose health can shape an entire household.
