Words on Bathroom Walls

DramaRomance111 min

After a diagnosis midway through his senior year, Adam transfers to a Catholic school and tries to keep his schizophrenia hidden while holding on to his dream of becoming a chef. Charlie Plummer is Adam, a bright, funny teen navigating classes, family strain, and the voices that interrupt his daily life. At school, Taylor Russell’s Maya — sharp, outspoken, and one of the few people who sees past his defenses — becomes a tutor, confidante, and first love. As Adam struggles to manage treatment without being exposed, the film keeps its focus on the awkward routines and small connections of teenage life.
