After failed careers and bad luck in love leave them both desperate, Akash and Kiara arrive at the same bridge on the same night, each intending to end their life. Ranbir Kapoor is Akash, a restless young man whose chance meeting with Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s Kiara changes the plan: instead of jumping, the two strangers agree to stay alive until New Year’s and use the time to chase unfinished wishes. What follows moves through late-night detours, travel, and the uneasy bond that forms between two people trying to outrun disappointment, with the film balancing dark humor, romance, and big musical set pieces.
