Badru is still hoping her husband will change if he quits drinking, until one more burst of rage pushes her and her mother into a revenge plan they are not exactly equipped to carry out. Alia Bhatt is Badru, clinging to the idea that her marriage can be repaired; Shefali Shah’s mother arrives with sharper instincts and fewer illusions. Vijay Varma’s husband keeps the household tense and unstable as the two women try to seize control of a situation that has long frightened them. The setup keeps domestic abuse, crime, and black comedy in the same frame, with payback unfolding through panic, improvisation, and missteps.
