Simply Actors

Comedy120 min

When undercover officers in Hong Kong start losing their lives to drug lords who dismiss them as victims of “poor acting,” the police come up with an unusual solution: send their finest to acting school. With Charlene Choi and Chapman To among the ensemble, the film builds its comedy around cops treating performance as job training, learning how to rehearse, improvise, and stay convincing enough to disappear into the criminal underworld. The premise keeps one foot in police caper territory and the other in backstage farce, with law enforcement and show business colliding in the middle of a drug bust.
