The Outsider

CrimeDramaHorrorMysteryThriller55 min per episode

The murder of a young boy looks like an open-and-shut case until the evidence starts pointing in two directions at once, pushing a seasoned detective toward an explanation he doesn’t want to entertain. Ben Mendelsohn is at the center of the investigation, with Cynthia Erivo arriving as an unorthodox presence whose methods unsettle the police and widen the case. As witness statements, forensic details, and airtight alibis refuse to line up, the search for a killer turns from a brutal local crime into something stranger and harder to name.
