In Crimea during the upheaval of spring 2014, a romance becomes entangled in a widening political rupture: a young woman backs Euromaidan while the man she loves joins Russian invasion troops after the movement's success. Evgeniya Lapova and Pavel Kraynov lead the film as the couple is pulled to opposite sides of a fast-changing conflict. As control of the peninsula shifts, their relationship is tested by divided loyalties, military pressure, and the growing sense that private choices are being overtaken by history. The story stays close to questions of allegiance, identity, and betrayal.
