On the streets of Los Angeles, patrol officers, detectives, and dispatchers move from one crisis to the next, trying to keep order in neighborhoods where every call can turn volatile in seconds. The series follows a rookie cop learning how little the academy prepared him for the job, alongside veterans who carry the strain of violence, bureaucracy, and split-second decisions home with them. Cases range from routine disturbances to brutal crimes, but the larger drama is what the work does to the people wearing the badge. As officers push through fear, anger, and exhaustion, the line between professional duty and personal damage gets harder to hold.
