Death in Paradise

ComedyCrimeDramaMystery60 min per episode

On the Caribbean island of Saint Marie, a police detective is sent far from home to solve murders that upset a place better known for beaches and tourists. Each case starts with an apparently impossible crime or a tangle of jealousies, secrets, and lies, and the investigation has to work through a small local team with its own rhythms and frictions. The clash between buttoned-up policing and island life becomes part of the story as suspects close ranks and clues hide in plain sight. Across the series, different lead detectives take over the post, with Ben Miller and Kris Marshall among those trying to make sense of baffling deaths in paradise.
