The Muppets Take Manhattan

ActionAdventureComedyDramaFamilyMusicalRomance94 min

Fresh out of college, Kermit and the gang head to New York with a stage musical they are sure can make them stars. They spend their days pitching the show to producers and their nights scraping by, trying to keep the dream alive while the city keeps pushing back. As money runs out and doors keep closing, the group starts to split up for odd jobs and separate paths, leaving Kermit to hold the project together almost by himself. The pressure only grows when setbacks hit his memory and his future with Miss Piggy. Along the way, the film turns their backstage struggle into a string of songs, comic detours, and Manhattan set pieces.
