The Kid Who Would Be King

ActionAdventureFamilyFantasy120 min

Alex is an ordinary schoolboy in modern England when he stumbles across Excalibur and finds himself at the center of an Arthurian battle. Louis Ashbourne Serkis is Alex, suddenly tasked with pulling together his friends — and even his schoolyard enemies — as a new band of knights. With Merlin (Patrick Stewart) guiding them, the kids are drawn into a clash with Morgana, the enchantress embodied by Rebecca Ferguson. The story drops ancient legend into the modern day, mixing school uniforms and bullies with quests, spells, and a sword that carries far more than playground bragging rights.
