In Angel Grove, a group of high schoolers are recruited to stop Rita Repulsa, an evil witch who unleashes monsters on the city. Amy Jo Johnson and Austin St. John are part of the original Ranger team, teenagers who morph into color-coded heroes, fight with martial arts and signature weapons, and call in giant machines when the battles grow to kaiju size. As the threats escalate, Rita is joined by Lord Zedd and an expanding horde of creatures, pushing the Rangers to juggle ordinary school life with constant attacks, transformations, and robot showdowns.
