Fawlty Towers

Comedy31 min per episode

At a shabby hotel in the seaside town of Torquay, owner Basil Fawlty tries to keep the business running while making nearly every situation worse. He snaps at guests, quarrels with tradesmen, panics over small problems, and schemes his way into bigger ones, all under the eye of his sharp, controlling wife Sybil. As new visitors arrive with demands, complaints, and misunderstandings, the staff is left to contain the damage. John Cleese’s Basil barrels from one blunder to the next, while Connie Booth’s Polly often becomes the only person capable of restoring order before the hotel collapses into another round of farce.
