After watching his father die at the hands of a ruthless warrior, Afro Samurai grows up in a futuristic Japan where disputes are settled with blades and revenge becomes his only path. Samuel L. Jackson leads the English voice cast, with Phil LaMarr alongside him, as the series follows Afro’s climb toward a single showdown with the man he’s been chasing since childhood. Fuminori Kizaki’s animated world blends samurai combat, sci-fi touches, betrayal, and graphic violence, keeping the focus tight on one fighter moving through loss, murder, and the code of the sword.
