David Blaine: Beyond Magic

DocumentaryMystery42 min

David Blaine turns the camera on his own process as he brings his brand of street magic directly to celebrity spectators and bystanders. The special follows Blaine through close-up illusions, mentalism, and performance pieces, with reactions from David Beckham, Stephen Curry, Johnny Depp, and others who find themselves inches from the trick. Woven through the performances is a documentary look at how Blaine approaches his work, from the stripped-down setup of street magic to the physical discipline and misdirection behind what he does. The focus stays tight on Blaine’s methods, presence, and the faces watching him work.
