A family of aliens crashes into suburban America after their home world is destroyed, and they are split on what to do next. Korvo wants to repair their mission and terraform Earth into something that looks like home, while Terry gets distracted by TV, junk food, and the strange pleasures of human life. Their two replicants and a tiny alien called the Pupa turn the house into a source of chaos, dragging neighbors, classmates, and each other into increasingly absurd disasters. As Korvo tries to keep the mission on track, everyday suburbia keeps colliding with alien tech, bad decisions, and a running argument over whether Earth is a wasteland or a pretty great place to live.
