Scared to Death

HorrorSci-Fi96 min

A string of hideous murders in Los Angeles first looks like the work of a serial killer, but Inspector Capell and a cop-turned-novelist uncover something far stranger: a genetic-engineering experiment that has escaped into the city’s sewers. John Stinson is the writer pulled into the investigation, while Toni Jannotta’s coed gets caught up in the chase as the case turns from police work to a hunt beneath the streets. As the body count rises, the search leads into the tunnels below Los Angeles, where the creature is already moving toward its next victims.
