Dennis the Menace

ComedyFamily94 min

Dennis can turn a quiet suburban afternoon into a mess, and no one feels it more than his next-door neighbor, Mr. Wilson. Mason Gamble is the blond whirlwind behind the slingshot-and-backyard chaos, while Walter Matthau’s fed-up Wilson takes the brunt of the accidents, interruptions, and constant good intentions gone sideways. When a shady drifter called Switchblade Sam (Christopher Lloyd) comes to town and a collection of gold coins disappears, Dennis’s nonstop meddling gets tangled up in the search. Based on the comic strip, the movie keeps its focus on neighborhood mischief, exasperated adults, and one kid who never means to cause trouble.
