X-Men: First Class

ActionAdventureSci-Fi132 min

In 1962, as the Cuban Missile Crisis pushes the world toward nuclear war, telepath Charles Xavier joins forces with Erik Lensherr, a mutant with a very different history, to find others like them before Sebastian Shaw can turn global tension into catastrophe. James McAvoy is the young Charles, while Michael Fassbender’s Erik carries the anger that will one day define Magneto. Their search pulls Raven, Hank McCoy, and other emerging mutants into the orbit of the CIA, sketching the first version of a team before friendship hardens into rivalry.
