Kala Shah Kala
Comedy140 min
Lovely is a happy-go-lucky charmer whose search for the right partner keeps colliding with prejudice over his dark complexion. Binnu Dhillon is Lovely, a man who thinks he may have found exactly what he wants in Pammi, with Sargun Mehta as the woman who seems like a perfect match. As their romance begins to take shape, the film builds its comedy around colorism, attraction, and the gap between how people are judged and who they are. The story keeps returning to Lovely’s effort to be seen for his heart rather than his appearance.
