DramaRomance111 min
Prince is the Kid, a rising Minneapolis musician pouring his anger and ambition into performances with the Revolution while life at home grows more volatile. As he tries not to repeat his father’s self-destructive patterns, the club scene closes in around him: Apollonia Kotero’s Apollonia is chasing her own shot as a singer, and Morris Day’s Morris wants the same spotlight. The story moves through rehearsals, nightclub sets, and a rocky romance as the Kid’s talent, temper, and private life keep colliding.
