Blue Ruin

CrimeDramaThriller91 min

After dreadful news pulls him back to his childhood home, a drifter living on the margins decides to settle an old score himself. Macon Blair is the would-be avenger, but his plan goes wrong almost immediately; what starts as a single act of revenge turns into a scramble to protect his estranged family as an old feud erupts into violence. With Amy Hargreaves and Devin Ratray among the people caught in the fallout, Blue Ruin stays close to a man who is no seasoned hitman, just angry, unprepared, and suddenly trapped by the consequences of what he set in motion.
