Karan Shergill (Hrithik Roshan) is a wealthy Delhi drifter with no job, no direction, and little sense of responsibility until he impulsively joins the Indian Army. What begins as another half-formed decision turns into a hard reset as military training, family pressure, and the threat of war force him to grow up quickly. Preity G Zinta appears in Karan’s orbit as his old life keeps pressing against the one he’s trying to build, while Amitabh Bachchan is among the commanding presences shaping his path. Farhan Akhtar’s 2004 Hindi drama follows that shift from aimlessness to duty against the backdrop of an escalating conflict.
