Thirst
DramaFantasyHorrorRomanceThriller135 min
A respected Catholic priest volunteers for an experimental treatment during a deadly outbreak, only to die and return after a mysterious blood transfusion with a craving he can’t pray away. Kang-ho Song is Sang-hyun, trying to reconcile devotion, secrecy, and a mounting thirst for blood, while Kim Ok-bin’s Tae-ju, the neglected wife of a childhood friend, becomes the focus of his dangerous desire. Directed by Park Chan-wook, this Korean vampire story folds faith, illness, guilt, and erotic obsession into a sensual, unsettling tale with flashes of dark humor.
