Conquest of the Planet of the Apes

ActionAdventureSci-Fi88 min

In a futuristic society where apes have been reduced to slaves, Caesar resurfaces after nearly 20 years in hiding and begins to turn that buried anger into open revolt. Roddy McDowall is Caesar, the chimpanzee son of Cornelius and Zira, moving through a police state that treats simians as property and punishes any sign of resistance. Don Murray and Ricardo Montalban are among the human figures around him as surveillance tightens and unrest builds. The film shifts the series into a harsher, more urban dystopia, tracing the spark of an uprising before the balance between humans and apes breaks.
