Gaurav Chandna is a young man from Delhi whose life revolves around film superstar Aryan Khanna, and his uncanny resemblance to his idol only deepens the obsession. Shah Rukh Khan takes both roles, shifting between Gaurav’s fervent devotion and Aryan’s carefully managed celebrity life as a trip to Mumbai for the star’s birthday goes badly wrong. What begins as fan worship turns into a campaign against Aryan’s image and peace of mind, with the story moving through crowds, tabloid attention, and the volatile gap between public fame and private fixation.
