Eyes Without a Face
DramaHorrorThriller90 min
After a car accident leaves his daughter disfigured, Dr. Génessier begins abducting young women and using them in face-transplant experiments at his secluded estate. Pierre Brasseur is the surgeon, driven by guilt and a rigid belief that he can repair what he caused; Édith Scob's Christiane remains hidden away while outsiders are told she is dead. At his side is Louise, his assistant and accomplice, with Alida Valli bringing a calm, unsettling precision to the role. The story unfolds around surgical rituals, false appearances, and the closed-off life inside the Génessier household.
