Long Shot
ComedyRomance125 min
Journalist Fred Flarsky runs back into his former babysitter and longtime crush just as she’s preparing a White House bid. Seth Rogen’s Fred is sharp, unruly, and newly out of work; Charlize Theron is Charlotte Field, the U.S. Secretary of State, who surprises her inner circle by hiring him to punch up her speeches. Their reunion drops an old attraction into the middle of a tightly managed campaign, where every bad habit, off-message joke, and tabloid-ready mistake can become a liability. Long Shot keeps one foot in political image-making and the other in an awkward romance between two people who remember each other from very different lives.
