Drama127 min

As NASA races to send John Glenn into orbit in the early 1960s, Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Octavia Spencer’s Dorothy Vaughan, and Janelle Monáe’s Mary Jackson do crucial work while facing segregation and sexism inside the agency. The film follows the three women as their mathematical skill and engineering talent become essential to the space program, even as they’re pushed to the margins at work. Against the backdrop of the Space Race, their story moves between calculation rooms, test launches, and the everyday barriers built into American life.
