Paul Hogan is Mick “Crocodile” Dundee, living in Walkabout Creek with Sue Charlton (Linda Kozlowski) and their young son when a Los Angeles newspaper recruits Sue for a new job. The family heads back to the U.S., dropping Dundee’s bushman instincts into newsroom offices, city streets, and a very different kind of wilderness. As Mick and his son size up American life — from traffic jams to big-city routines — the film folds the fish-out-of-water comedy of the earlier movies into a Los Angeles setting, with Dundee’s plainspoken style colliding with media culture, crime, and urban chaos.
