Thunderbolt and Lightfoot

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDrama115 min

Clint Eastwood’s Thunderbolt is a fugitive bank robber hiding out in preacher’s clothes when a fast-talking young drifter crashes into his life. Jeff Bridges is Lightfoot, a cheerful car thief who tags along as Thunderbolt resurfaces, evades the men from his old crew, and starts pulling the gang back together for one more bank job. George Kennedy and Geoffrey Lewis figure into the circle of former partners and pursuers, while the story moves between open-road detours, oddball encounters, and the practical business of planning a heist.
