The Way He Looks

DramaRomance100 min

A blind teenager in Brazil is pushing for more independence while school, family, and friendship keep closing in around him. Leonardo wants to move through the world on his own, but his protective mother and his longtime best friend Giovana are used to guiding him. When a new classmate, Gabriel, enters their orbit, the balance shifts. Leonardo finds himself drawn to Gabriel, and the easy routines of friendship start to feel newly tense and uncertain. As jealousy, first love, and the need to be seen on his own terms collide, ordinary days at school turn into a quiet reshaping of how Leonardo understands freedom, desire, and growing up.
