Grace Long has inherited more than a family tradition: she’s the third generation charged with running Green River’s Christmas Eve parade just as a national morning show plans to broadcast from the New England town. Jodie Sweetin is Grace, balancing hometown expectations and sudden TV-sized attention when the man booked to play Santa breaks his arm at the last minute. With Eric Winter alongside her, the film follows the rush to find a replacement St. Nick and keep Green River’s signature holiday event from unraveling before millions of viewers tune in.
