The Whistleblower

CrimeDocumentaryDramaThriller112 min

In post-war Bosnia in 1999, Nebraska police officer Kathryn Bolkovac joins a United Nations peacekeeping mission expecting routine police work and finds women being bought, abused, and moved through a sex-trafficking network. As she digs deeper, the trail leads not just to local criminals but to the international contractors and peacekeepers meant to protect the vulnerable. Her reports are buried, witnesses are intimidated, and every attempt to push the case forward puts her job and safety at risk. Rachel Weisz anchors Bolkovac’s fight as the people above her close ranks, turning her investigation into a battle against the entire system around her.
