The Stepfather
CrimeHorrorThriller101 min
Back from military school, Michael Harding finds his mother living with a new boyfriend who seems almost too eager to be the perfect family man. Penn Badgley’s Michael is wary from the start, and the more time he spends around David, the more that steady smile and ever-present helpfulness begin to look like a cover. Dylan Walsh gives David a polished calm that keeps Michael guessing, while Amber Heard appears as Michael’s girlfriend, joining him as he starts looking into the stranger now at the center of their home.
