A Place in the Sun

CrimeDramaRomance122 min

A poor young man arrives at his wealthy relatives’ factory hoping for a foothold and quickly learns how sharply class divides his world. He begins a secret relationship with a coworker, then is drawn into high society when an ambitious, glamorous woman notices him. As his romance with the heiress deepens, the earlier affair becomes a trap he cannot neatly escape. What starts as a climb toward status and love turns into a crisis of desire, shame, and calculation, with every choice tightening the pressure. When the situation spins toward scandal and a criminal case, the film follows how private longing collides with public judgment.
