Freddy Got Fingered

Comedy87 min

Tom Green is Gord Brody, an unemployed 28-year-old cartoonist who moves back into his parents’ basement and turns a dead-end homecoming into open war. Gord wants to be an animator; his father Jim (Rip Torn) wants him out of the house and into a job. When the pressure to leave keeps mounting, Gord retaliates by spreading a false rumor that Jim is abusing his younger brother Freddy, sending the family into a harsher, stranger spiral. Co-written and directed by Green, the film leans into confrontational gross-out comedy, warped father-son conflict, and the kind of surreal, juvenile escalation that defined Green’s screen persona.
