Miss You Already

ComedyDramaRomance112 min

Milly and Jess have been inseparable since childhood, sharing secrets, clothes, boyfriends, and the messier turns of adult life. Toni Collette’s Milly seems to have everything in place — a successful career, a musician husband, and children — while Drew Barrymore is Jess, living on a houseboat with her boyfriend and struggling to get pregnant. Their bond starts to strain when Milly is diagnosed with breast cancer just as Jess’s life is changing in ways she’s long hoped for. The film keeps its focus on the shifting balance between them, where loyalty, resentment, humor, and old intimacy all sit side by side.
