Ella Enchanted

ComedyFamilyFantasyRomance96 min

Anne Hathaway is Ella, born with a fairy godmother’s “gift” of obedience — a spell that forces her to do exactly what she’s told. What sounds virtuous quickly becomes dangerous once cruel relatives and opportunists realize they can control her with a single command. Determined to break the curse, Ella sets out to find Lucinda (Vivica A. Fox), the fairy who cast it, and ends up crossing paths with Hugh Dancy’s Prince Charmont. Her search winds through a fairy-tale kingdom crowded with ogres, giants, elves, wicked stepsisters, and a royal uncle with his eye on the crown.
